Skye Light Images and Skye Light Safaris have been created by Iain Jones to present the dramatic scenery and stunning light quality of the Isle of Skye and beyond of this magnificent area of Scotland.

For the past ten years I have lived and worked on Skye surrounded by this splendour and have been seeking a way, through photography,to capture and exhibit the dramatic landscapes and wildlife I see every day.

I skipper a boat theMV Stardust doing trips from Portree out into the Sound of Raasay to witness the scenery from the sea and encounter the rich and varied marine wildlife of the area.
In particular we visit the nest site area of Britains largest and most rare bird of prey, the magnificent
White Tailed Sea Eagle. See the wildlife portfolio for some of the pictures possible from the boat.
