Welcome to the Skye Light Images website.
Photographs of the Isle of Skye,
West of Scotland and now Morocco.
I have attempted to capture the unique light and beauty on and around the Isle of Skye including its wildlife and magnificent scenery. Sea Eagles, Terns, Seals and Dolphins against a backdrop of dramatic weather and vistas await the visitor to these shores.

I am starting to organise a portfolio of other travel destinations as well.
So far just Morocco (Marrakesh and Essaouira) but more to come.

Hot tip! Colour management is now very important. In order that
images on your monitor are displayed the way they are supposed to be seen, including pictures from your own camera, your monitor needs to be calibrated. Check your monitor instruction manual or do a google search for monitor calibration, just don't get too bogged down in it!

I have finally managed to post some of my wildlife and travel photographs (spent a month wrestling with Lightroom on free trial, now I've mastered it I can't afford to buy it, Ho Hum back to iphoto). Anyway I hope you enjoy the photos in the new wildlife bit.

Thank you to all who supported the 2008 Calendar and for your interest in a 2009 Calendar.
Unfortunately I will not be producing a new calendar as I am unable and unwilling to compete with similar products printed in Asia.
